Ashgate House
Three parts. A house emptied twice, and never emptied at all.
In 1974 the doors of Ashgate House were locked and the keys were posted to a solicitor who had already died. Two clearance firms have since been sent in. Both filed an inventory. Both inventories run to two hundred and eleven items, and the lists are identical. A story about the things a family keeps, and the one thing they did not.
